So for this exciting blog I am going to talk a little about the Republican party but more specifically, Ted Cruz. The Republican party is known for taking a more conservative stand on issues. They believe that the federal government should not play a big role in peoples lives. His mother Eleanor, was born in the United States and met his father when she was a student at Rice University.
